A loo roll ring, custard tart tin earrings and carrier bag hats: The freakiest looks from London Fashion Week

From the star-studded Burberry Prorsum show to Tom Ford's elegant offering last night, London Fashion Week is in full swing in all its stylish glory.
However, it wouldn't be Fashion Week without some outlandish designs. Fashion is all about creativity after all and the capital's celebration of all things style gets top marks for excitement, innovation and all-round fun year on year.
But one young designer took freaky fashion to a whole new level at her show yesterday as she sent models out on her catwalk wearing discarded toilet rolls as accessories.

Louise Gray's autumn/winter 2013 show called to mind what could only be described as dishevelled housewives who had been dragged through a hedge and back - picking up remnants from the garbage bin on the way.

The Scottish designer created rings and bracelets from discarded toilet rolls, earrings were made from flattened custard tart tins, whilst belts were created with old foil trays.

And she didn't stop there: Hair accessories were even made out of recycling bags.
But there is some logic behind her madness.
'I’m into recycling – it’s a nice concept,' the designer told Vogue.co.uk after the show.
It wasn't just Louise Gray shaking up London Fashion Week with her quirky designs.
KTZ, whose collections are fun and bold, like to remind us not to take life so seriously - and they most certainly did that last Friday at their a/w13 show.

The designers, who graduated from the prestigious Central St Martins University, sent their models down the catwalk wearing some very quirky headgear.
One model completed her red boucle jacket and pleated skirt combo with a headpiece resembling a stylish toilet roll holder.
Another model teamed her monochrome outfit with a black face mask adorned with knives, whilst another wore horns over her eyes.
Hungover housewives: Louise's models rocked the disheveled look complete with smudged eye make-up and even glasses adorned with the words 'crazy'- enough said

And giving KTZ a run for their money was Fyodor Golan who sent models down the runway with huge disc-shaped headdresses in crazy graphic prints.
The designer duo, who are well known for their shocking statement pieces, didn't stop there either.
Their long-sleeved mini dress gave way to hugely daring cut out necklines, which barely covered the model's modesty.

Pam Hogg continued the 'dare to bare' trend with her offering on Saturday night at Fashion Scout.
Although veteran designer Pam Hogg chose to stage her show to the electro beats of Carter Tutti, she might have done better to have played tunes by Bare Naked Ladies.
After all, given the number of naked models strutting their stuff on the catwalk, it would certainly have been appropriate.

Never one to shy away from a carefully orchestrated shocker, Hogg sent models down the catwalk in their birthday suits, accessorised with barely there capes that left nothing to the imagination, or, in one instance, a hat alone.
But putting on a performance rather than a straight forward catwalk show has always been part of the Pam Hogg routine and her latest collection didn't surprise - in that respect at least.

Hogg, whose work unsurprisingly finds a ready market among attention grabbing celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Kate Moss and Jessie J, updated her iconic jumpsuits with oversized, eye-catching cuboid headpieces that served to gag the model’s mouths.
On-trend PVC and sequins made their mark and there was plenty of flesh on show as daring metallic macs were worn completely unbuttoned with less definitely being more.
The star of the show was a Britney Spears 'Oops I did it again' inspired red jumpsuit and, not to be outshone, Hogg made her bows in front of the wildly clapping audience in a bright pink latticed all-in-one.
Hidden modesty: Luckily for a few models, their modesty was hidden by fur and belts

Providing some more outlandish fashion for the kooky revellers amongst us was Sister by Sibling.
Enormous knitted hats, floral crochet ponchos and super-sized knitted body stockings appeared on the catwalk at one of London Fashion Week's most outlandish moments so far.

Even model of the moment Cara Delevingne couldn't hide her distaste for the sartorial shockers - parading down the runway with an uncharacteristically glum expression on her face.
One particularly bizarre beige creation looked as if it had been inspired by Wallace and Gromit's Shawn the Sheep, complete with an oversized white beanie that almost completely obscured the unfortunate model's face.
Sid Bryan, Joe Bates and Cozette McCreery, the trio behind Sister by Sibling, have form when it comes to oddball fashion.

And giving a whole new meaning to vintage was lingerie line Itsy Bitsy Vintage who created a collection of undergarments made out of second hand fabrics.
Itsy Bitsy Vintage lingerie showcased their quirky designs on day two of Fashion's Finest showcase for London Fashion Week at the Westbury Hotel in Mayfair, London ... and it was quite the eye-popping spectacle.
