An Easy Way to Enjoy Oolong Tea

I really enjoy drinking Oolong Tea. A lot of people do, and for good reason. It's healthy, delicious and a good alternative to boring old water. However, it can sometimes be inconvenient to have to brew tea every time you want to enjoy a cup. And what about when you're on the go? It's not necessarily easy to brew tea when you are busy at work, on a trip or when you have rambunctious kids to take care of.
The traditional way of brewing tea requires you to heat up the water which makes the room hot (not fun in the middle of summer), pour it in your cup and add the tea, letting it steep for three to five minutes. There's also the option of sun brewing tea, which is similar to the stove top method, but it streamlines the process a bit. Generally you brew a larger volume of tea at once, but you are limited by how many hours in the day the sun is going to be warm enough to brew the tea. You could let it sit out in the moonlight, but the tea doesn't seem to keep very well when you let it sit too long outside. Also, not everyone has the luxury of putting a large vessel of tea outside in the sun.
So how do we remedy this problem? It's really quite simple. We take the same procedure of sun brewing, but we take it inside to the refrigerator. This makes the tea making process extremely simple. Just fill up your carafe with cold, clean water, add two, three or more tea bags depending on taste and size of vessel, seal it and place in the fridge for a few hours. This works especially well with flavored teas; I find the flavor develops more delicately and blends better with other flavors (if added).
A good time to do this is right before bed time, then it will be good and ready in the morning. Another added benefit is that the tea will be nice and cold, which is particularly refreshing in the warmer summer and autumn months.
