'I think the same thing when I look at the pictures... but I know I'm a happy person': Victoria Beckham on that pout

She is as famous for her pout as anything else, but Victoria Beckham insists that despite appearances, she is far from miserable.
In a frank chat with German Interview magazine, the designer, 38, says that she is aware that the vast majority see her as sour-faced, but doesn't let it get to her.
'Yes, I created this persona and I’m very different from that,' the mother-of-four says.

'I don’t feel like I have to scream and shout about it - I know I am a happy person. So I don’t get upset when people comment on the fact that I look quite miserable all the time.

She adds: 'But people think I am. And you know, sometimes I think the same thing when I look at the pictures.'
Her pout and love of designer clothes landed Victoria with the moniker Posh during her Spice Girls days.

During the interview, Mrs Beckham recalls her singing days back in the Nineties with fondness, but admits that she has truly come into her own since ditching the microphone and turning her hand to designing.
'Was music my talent really? No, I don’t think I was particularly talented,' she admits. 'With the other girls, the five of us all really worked together. But talented? I sound a bit odd to myself.'
Victoria lounges on a stretch of grass in a white top and short shorts in the photoshoot for Interview.
In another, she reads E.M. Forster's novel The Longest Journey with a leather jacket covering her shoulders.
Both Beckhams have been covering magazines this week, with Victoria's husband David gracing UK Elle magazine.
In his interview, David reveals a little of the couple's home life.
He says: 'She comes home and shows me what she's been doing all day and what exciting dresses and bags she's got coming through. And then I say something boring like "I got kicked today."

'We try to go out at least once a week, just the two of us, a quiet dinner somewhere.
The Beckhams may be worth £165million, but David added that the fame side of their life isn't important.
'I never thought about the money, the fame - it never interested me and it doesn't interest me now. None of that has ever excited me.'
