Anne Hathaway and Samuel L. Jackson's Les Mis Vs Django Unchained battle for most miserable Christmas movie in Funny Or Die skit

Anne Hathway and Samuel L. Jackson are going to war early on behalf of their films, which are both being released on Christmas Day, in a hilarious new Funny Or Die skit.
It's profanity and insults at 10 paces as the two actors battle it out to decide which of their holiday films is sadder - Django Unchained or Les Miserables?

Whose sad? Anne Hathaway and Samuel L. Jackson try to work out whose movie is sadder - Django Unchained or Les Miserables?

Wearing T-shirts for their respective film - Anne stars as factory worker turned prostitute Fantine in Les Mis and Samuel plays the unlikeable right-hand-man to sadistic slave-master in Django - the pair square off arguing why their film is saddest over cups of hot coco.
'My movie is literally called The Miserable - guess your movie is kind of dark,' Anne says, striking first.
'Kind of dark?,' Samuel retorts. 'Interesting choice of words there, now you know my movie is about slavery right?'

In attempt to defend herself 30-year-old Anne sounds like she has fallen straight out of Django director Quentin Tarantino's high violence flicks:
'That's right it is a sad off m----- f-----.'
In the four minute video the Pulp fiction actor is quick to go after Anne's sadness credentials as she was once a Disney princess for flick Princess Diaries.
'I was a Disney princess because I had long hair in this movie that all gets chopped off - with a knife!' Anne says.
Too Disney: Samuel claims the 30-year-old actress can not be considered sad as she was a star of a Disney princess movie

The actress - who has admitted starving herself in in order to look malnourished for the film based in 17th Century France - tries to argue her movie is sadder as her character losses her job and is homeless.
'Oh my God you loose your job,' a sarcastic Samuel says. 'Because everyone in my film has job security - because they are slaves.'
The pair then attempt to out cry each other before Anne smashes Samuel's 'Gingerbread Plantation'.
With neither actor coming out on top they agree to disagree as, after all, it is Christmas and their films are their holiday presents to the world.
Tis the season: The actors agree to disagree as after all isn't sadness what Christmas is all about?

'This competition is just wrong, Christmas isn't about beating people, says the 63-year-old veteran actor.
'Nothing says Christmas like slaves and w----s,' Anne jokingly agrees.
'That is our gift to you America,' Samuel concludes.
Both films are expected to earn high at the box officer however, Anne's Les Miserables which also stars Hugh Jackman is getting a large amount of early Oscar buzz.

Both Anne and co-star Hugh have been nominated for Golden Globes however, blood thirsty Spaghetti Western Django has five nominations - one more than Les Mis - for Best Dramatic Picture, Best Screenplay, Best Director and two for Best Supporting Actor — Christoph Waltz and Leonardo DiCaprio.
The film set in America's pre-Civil south is particularly violent so on Monday studio The Weinstein Company cancelled its Los Angeles premiere in the wake of last weeks school shootings.
