Movember may be over and the moustaches may
have been shaved off, but that doesn't mean you can stop supporting
prostate cancer charities.
And if anyone realises that, it's the fine young men at the Oxford University Rugby Football Club.
To raise money for Prostate Cancer UK, the charitable chaps have stripped off and been photographed in a number of, er, compromising positions around their university town for a tasteful black and white 2013 calendar.
He
said: 'We missed Movember - partly because we were busy preparing for
the Varsity match, partly because we didn't get our act together in time
- and we felt bad, especially because a couple of boys in the club have been affected by prostate cancer in some way or other.'
Sean
continued: 'So we decided to raise money with the naked calendar, and
had our club photographer take photographs of us around Oxford.
'It was great fun. As rugby boys we're quite comfortable with our own nakedness. We took the photos very early in the morning to ensure there were fewer people about, but sometimes it was unavoidable.
'The was particularly true for October - in which three of us are cycling down the middle of the road - and July - in which a couple of boys are shot playing croquet on the Trinity College lawns, and lots of people were gathering around to watch - and April, when a few of the boys are on the steps of the Radcliffe Camera library.
'Sometimes we just had to grin and bear it.'
The players photographed areSean Morris, Will Rowlands, Hee-Won Cho, Henry Hughes, Dugald Macdonald, Oscar Vallance, Charlie Marr, Samson Egerton, Hamish Macdonald, Nick Gardner, Gus Jones, Jonathan Hudson, Henry Lamont and Gavin Turner.
