Spotify have also revealed that the duo have seen streams of their hits increase in 1,100 percent since Saturday.
The presenters shocked fans when they resurrected their alter-egos PJ & Duncan and the pair were seen dancing around the stage in their old get-up of shell suits and trainers.
Despite releasing the song nearly two decades ago, Ant and Dec still remembered all the dance moves.
He wrote: 'I know the charts have slowed down a bit but taking 19 yrs to get to No.3 is just plain ridix. D #LetsGetReadyToRhumble (sic).
In behind-the-scenes footage of the rehearsals ahead of the show the duo talk about how they feel about performing the track.
Dec joked that the music felt fast, nearly a decade later and said: 'We have obviously aged a bit we’ve either got a lot older and slower of the track has got quicker.'
While fans might be hoping for the pair to return to music, Ant and Dec have set their sights on taking Saturday Night Takeaway to America.
Ant told The Sunday people: 'We want to take Takeaway to the States as we think it's a great show. We think it would be brilliant for the American audience.'
'It could be great. It's the right time to give it a crack. USA Takeaway should work so it's something we think would be really good to do and make happen.'
Ladbrokes have Ant and Dec odds-on at 8/11 to have the official top 40 No.1 this Sunday.
