Way back before he was jumping on couches, Tom Cruise was hanging from ceilings to work on his new Apple PowerBook.

For $15 million, Apple got Tom to plug away on the just-released PowerBook 5300, seemingly to showcase Apple’s great industrial design and ease-of-use. But the movie showed a command-line interface, not the usual Finder GUI.
Maybe they were so ahead of their time, they were running NextSTEP or OS X way before anyone else?

The PowerBook 5300 was, well, just ok.
But the tshirts issued to commemorate the tie-in were fantastic.

Who knew that the International Monetary Fund had secret agents?

Are those really Tom Cruise’s (er, Ethan Hunt’s) fingerprints or can you download them from StockFingerPrints.com?

I love how the UI is so–”War Games” instead of looking more Mac-ish.
