But Joely Richardson was at risk of suffering a wardrobe malfunction of epic proportions as she left the Dior at Harrods after-party at Harry's Bar on Thursday night.
The 48-year-old actress looked effortlessly chic as she emerged from the exclusive hangout in her pretty party frock.

In spite of the embarrassment, the star quickly regained her composure and handled the situation like a true professional as she elegantly glided down the street to her waiting taxi.
The Girl With A Dragon Tattoo actress looked stylish and sophisticated in her chic pink and red panelled dress, featuring a cinched-in tied waist and a wraparound style - which eventually became her downfall.

Joely accessorised with black peep-toe shoes and a tiny matching clutch, while sensibly carrying a black blazer jacket in her hand to protect her from the elements if necessary.
Simple bronze make-up and her blonde locks blow-dried into a voluminous style completed the star's look as she stepped out for a glamorous evening of fun.
The actress has previously admitted she loves experimenting with different looks, and makes sure to plan every outfit in intricate detail.

She told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: 'I look at every event and plan a different look. It's fun to experiment.
'One minute, I like happy, girly clothes and gorgeous underwear, and the next, I'm in the mood to be more sophisticated. With fashion, you are never just one person, that's the fun of it.'
Joely was joined by a whole host of other stars as she celebrated the the collaboration between the French luxury label and the iconic British store.
Actress Gemma Arterton, model Liberty Ross and Les Miserables star Samantha Barks were among the London elite in attendance at the bash.
