Rihanna snaps a picture of wild deer as she goes on safari... on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles

She's used to being pursued by packs of paparazzi.
But the tables were turned when Rihanna turned photographer on Monday.
The singer played wildlife photographer as she snapped pictures of wild deer enjoying the morning sunlight.

But Rihanna wasn't on an exotic safari.
Instead the 24-year-old asked her driver to stop the car so she could shoot through the window on busy Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles.
Rihanna was obviously proud of her efforts, posting the scenic picture on Twitter for her fans to see with the caption Mondayz.

For her outing the star was rocking a newly short hairdo, with her hair combed forward in a pixie crop.
She matched the hair with a slick of red lipstick, work boots, and jeans and a simple sweatshirt.
The Bajan beauty is gearing up for her Diamonds world tour, which is due to start next week. 
The svelte star has been working hard to perfect her dance routines before things begin, and tweeted pictures of herself in the studio earlier this week.

However, she caused controversy with the shots, which showed her puffing away on a suspicious-looking cigarette during a break.  
She is also thought to have been spending plenty of time with Chris Brown after the pair reignited their romance.
Rihanna is said to be worried about Brown after he was involved in a brawl with Frank Ocean on Sunday night.
Chris is being investigated by Los Angeles police for assault after he and Frank got into a fight on over a parking spot at Westlake Recording Studios in Los Angeles.
