That's better Katie! Mrs Cruise appears glowing and glamorous at London premiere (and Tom looks happy too)

Sometimes all you need is a good night's sleep. And as Katie Holmes arrived at the London premiere of  Valkyrie last night it appeared the hard-working mother had finally caught up on her rest.
The smiling actress looked bright-eyed and glowing as she helped her husband  greet his fans on the red carpet.
Her appearance was in sharp contrast to the previous night, when she appeared at the film's German premiere looking tired and grey-faced.

For last night's premiere Katie, mother to two-year-old Suri, chose an embroidered midnight blue cocktail dress with ribbon ties on the shoulders.
The dress exposed her long slender legs, which Katie kept warm in opaque tights.

Cruise is currently on a promotional tour to promote the movie, about a conspiracy to assassinate Hitler and seize control of Germany from the Nazis, led by his character Colonel Stauffenberg.
Katie, 30, could have been forgiven for staying at home to recover after only just finishing a tiring run of All My Sons on New York's Broadway.
But after six months living at opposite ends of the U.S. she clearly doesn't want to be parted from her husband any longer - and flew to Europe to accompany him on the round of premieres and press conferences.

The film has been panned by critics, but the bad reviews did not put off a hardy band of Cruise enthusiasts, who braved the chilly weather to attend the premiere in London's Leicester Square.
After helping his wife inside out of the cold, Cruise walked the carpet signing autographs and chatting with the fans.
But not everyone was pleased to see him. Among the crowd were a small group of anti-Scientology protesters wearing masks and waving banners.

At a press conference today Eddie Izzard, who plays a Second World War German officer, said he enjoyed working on the film.
'So with Tom's working method he wants to work hard, be focused and do a hard day's work, which is what I like to do. And then we'd all get together and there'd be these big long meal that would go on, which was great.'
Bill Nighy, who plays another of the conspirators in the film, said Cruise was easy to work with.
